Manuel E. Pravia, CPA, is a director in the Tax & Accounting Department of Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLP. His experience over the past seventeen years spans various industries, such as insurance and financial institutions, as well as international tax (including corporate, foreign nationals, and expatriates). He also focuses on corporate tax accounting issues (FAS 109 and FIN 48), an area that he dealt with extensively during his ten years of corporate tax experience in several prominent South Florida companies.

He regularly presents at continuing professional education seminars and is an instructor for Becker CPA Review as well as an adjunct professor in the Florida International University School of Accounting.

Manny is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and of its Federal Taxation Committee. He is also a member of the University of Miami Alumni Association, is on the Ford Salute to Education Scholarship committee and is a fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI). He has been involved with the United Way of Miami-Dade’s Community Investments Committee, Young Leaders and as Past Chair of the Audit Committee. He also served on the Board of Directors of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity and FIU's School of Business Alumni Chapter.

He received his bachelor of business administration from the University of Miami and his master of taxation from Florida International University.
