Marta joined Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLP as a manager in 1994 and was promoted to partner in 2001. As a partner in the Audit Department, Marta oversaw assurance services for the firm, including audits and regulatory filings and served on the Risk Assessment Committee.
As the first woman partner of the firm, Marta set an example and tone of excellence for those to follow. Throughout her finance career, Marta has worked with businesses from a wide range of industries including securities brokers and dealers, investment advisors, mortgage brokers, manufacturers, wholesale distributors and retailers. In addition to her audit responsibilities, Marta also provides tax planning, financial analysis, forensic accounting, and litigation support services.
She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Marta remains active with the firm today in her role as Of Counsel.
A certified public accountant in Florida and Michigan, Marta graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelor of arts in accounting.
